Phase 1

A website’s visuals speak volumes, but only if framed properly within a solid user experience. Innotech wanted to refresh their brand with dynamic photo galleries, better story telling and easier browsing. We formatted the content in a more natural way, allowing users to scroll for information. The advanced new home page welcomes visitors with video, striking photos and bold icons, all linkable and devised to prompt further exploration. We highlighted the Featured Projects and Blog on the home page with inviting teaser copy and images, rather than relegating these important categories to a traditional menu bar.

Phase 2

Innotech approved a style tile that included a series of contrasting greys, in addition to their distinctive orange visual branding. This combination of colours would allow the imagery to pop off the screen with added vibrancy. With the removal of the homepage's photo gallery slider, we were free to situate the images more prominently throughout, reinforcing Innotech's strong vision on every page, and in complementary grand style.

Bringing It All Together

Phase 3

At Forge and Smith, we collaborate with our clients at every stage of development. When Innotech requested mega-menus on the home page for the Windows, Doors, and Excellence categories, we listened. Our developers facilitated this request with custom drop-down menus that would collapse properly when viewed on mobile devices. Filtered forms to maximize conversion opportunities, Google Maps integration, a login protected user area, pages with enhanced PDF handling, plus improved share-ability and social linking were all integrated into the responsive design. The new website showcases a company whose passion for their work is clearly evident.
