Keep ReadingHighline Forming is a specialized formwork provider in the Toronto area, offering integrated design-build services with a focus on safety, collaboration, and sustainable green-building practices.
Highline Forming operates in an extremely competitive region, and were unhappy with their extremely simple website. They needed something robust and polished that would reflect the quality of their work – and stand out among their competitors.
This project was more like an all-new website than a redesign due to the limited existing content, so we needed to start by developing a content strategy. Through the sitemap we planned content areas to showcase their services, demonstrate their work, highlight their values, and support the recruitment of new talent.
Highline Forming wanted their site to be bold and visually striking, like the massive structures they build. We worked with them to develop an eye-catching palette of red, white, and black. These colours work perfectly with a design that combines big photos and minimalist copy. The aesthetic is rounded out by clean, modern typography.
The new Highline Forming site is a powerful testament to their brand, and their work. The huge photos of skylines and construction projects make a strong first impression, then your eye is drawn naturally toward key content by red accents and big buttons. We built parallax and scroll speed animations, including sticky overlaps on the projects landing page. The site was also built on our proprietary site builder plugin, Foundry, making it much more flexible and easy to manage for their team.
