The Beacon Group is a Toronto-based management consulting firm that offers a full array of business consulting solutions and services, to help companies improve their organizational effectiveness.
Objectives:
- Drive conversion of site visitors into contacts and ultimately customers
- Implement a search-friendly Blog to improve brand storytelling, engagement, and SEO
- Implement case studies to showcase credibility, and drive conversions with proven results
- Establish SEO foundations to increase search engine traffic and drive future growth
- Implement a fully responsive solution backed by WordPress CMS
PHASE 1
Prototyping
The Beacon Group’s founder had built up an impressive wealth of resources, case studies, and clients over 20 years, but without a company-specific website. They needed an online presence to organize and showcase their customized business management solutions, and to put faces to the names of their established team of business development professionals.
This web design project included a total brand reinvention and improved content strategy. A roadmap area with clear calls to action at each step showcases Beacon Group’s unique approach to consulting. Intellectual property and content are sorted into downloadable whitepapers and blog posts categorized with industry-appropriate terminology.
PHASE 2
Style
Pulling from the iconic imagery of the Beacon Group’s logo, the new banner images showcase stable lighthouses amongst turbulent surroundings. Clear iconography in a pop-out menu guides site visitors to desired service categories, while muted logo overlays subtly carry the lighthouse imagery across the page.
Phase 3
Bringing it All Together
The new Beacon Group website uses a dynamic homepage to call out their services and highlight their distinctive consulting method. Roadmap items on a specialized Our Approach page are housed in neat accordion areas that include perspicuous conversion paths and credibility content. Previously scattered resources are categorized in meaningful, accessible categories, making it easier for site visitors to find what they need.
