Pacific Spirit Dental has two busy locations, and aims to provide exceptional oral healthcare rooted in compassion, expertise, and a commitment to their patients’ well-being.
Objectives:
- Establish brand equity and online reach through branded storytelling
- Drive conversion of site visitors into contacts and, ultimately, customers
- Create a more engaging and visual product and service story with improved navigation and filtering
- Implement a more search-friendly Blog to improve brand storytelling, engagement, and SEO
- Establish SEO foundations to increase search engine traffic and drive future growth
- Implement a fully responsive solution backed by WordPress CMS
Results
PHASE 1
Prototyping
Pacific Spirit Dental had recently merged two practices, both with small, outdated websites. They needed help creating a significantly more professional and unified online presence, but with an extra challenge – they were launching a new business-within-the-business called The Dentist, to deliver more affordable dental care to UBC students.
The site’s navigation and structure needed to serve both audiences and keep the two brands separate, without confusing anyone about which services were offered where (and why they were different). Our goal was to keep it simple, and let the content drive the strategy.
PHASE 2
Style
With this web design project we had an opportunity to improve and expand upon Pacific Spirit Dental’s branding. The goal was to create designs that were clean and welcoming, like their locations. We also created a separate, related palette for The Dentist, with the menu and backgrounds changing colour if a user navigates between the main practice content and The Dentist.
Phase 3
Bringing it All Together
The new Pacific Spirit Dental site is a straightforward user experience that helps people quickly discover their services and make an appointment. The layout and navigation make it easy for new and existing patients to find services, forms, and location details. And The Dentist’s content is nestled tidily within a location page, but is still easily accessible from the main menu and callouts.
