PHASE 1
Prototyping
Pacific Public Health Foundation (BCCDC Foundation at the time) has a critical role in BC, being the only organization of its kind. They had a lot of important content that, over a few years, had ended up all over the site and was not easy enough to find. They needed a full website redesign – and on a short timeline.
Our main goal was reorganize the site around a logical architecture, and improve the navigation experience. We also wanted to create a way for them to showcase the projects they support as they relate to larger campaigns.
PHASE 2
Style
The organization was undergoing a big rebrand (along with the name change), so our goal was to support and expand the new brand styles. The use of the triangles from their logo throughout the page designs, as backgrounds and overlays, gives the pages an upbeat, vibrant look and feel.
Phase 3
Bringing it All Together
The new Pacific Public Health Foundation website was delivered on time, and is incredibly easy to browse and search. It’s clear where to find information about campaigns and research, public health resources, and how to get involved. The site was built on our low-code site builder plugin, Refoundry. Its code is lightweight, and the site is now significantly more flexible and easy to manage for their team.
