Phase 1

Prototyping

Matcon is an established construction company with a strong reputation throughout Canada. Their outdated website wasn’t doing the business justice, with little content to demonstrate their capabilities. Much of their existing content was also pop-ups, which was dragging down SEO and site performance, especially on mobile devices.

Our goal for the new web design was to significantly improve their content strategy with a custom WordPress site centred around their projects. A browsable, searchable project gallery would provide better content for SEO, and showcase the depth of their work for improved conversions.

Style Concepts

Matcon had good existing branding, and we stayed true to their industrial look and earth tones. The stylistic focus of the new web design was bringing in engaging imagery to better tell their story and capture the full scope of their services. With big, bold use of authentic photography, their projects are a stronger testament to their expertise.

Bringing it all together

The new Matcon site is polished and professional, and a stronger visitor experience for their referral business traffic. On top of the expanded projects gallery, it features deeper company story content like their certifications, environmental care, and community involvement. With improved navigation and a better overall UX design, it's a much better digital representation of their quality, experience, and dedication.
