Engaged Sessions
Built With Refoundry
Blenz
Blenz needed a fresh new website to reflect their updated branding, and to help customers more easily find their way to online orders, app downloads, and perks.
Keep ReadingMaple Leaf Adventures has provided big adventures aboard small ships in BC and Alaska since 1986, and was selected for Canada’s “Signature Experiences Collection” by the Canadian Tourism Commission.
Maple Leaf Adventures has an exciting, premium travel offering that lends extremely well to visual design. We were thrilled to work with them on redesigning their site, with a focus on improving the path to discovering all of the possibilities with their many sample itineraries. They also wanted to create deeper content around their ecotourism vision.
This is a complex site with a lot of moving parts that need to feel completely seamless to the user. Through our sitemap and UX design stages we planned for multiple engaging ways a person can explore the content, including ample content relationships. We also designed robust itinerary pages that could each capture the unique experiences and departure options for three different ships.
Maple Leaf’s gorgeous travel photos were a dream to work with. We wanted to create page designs that put the imagery on centre stage. The visual elements needed to evoke the professionalism and experience of the business, while piquing the interest of an affluent audience with glimpses of the exclusive adventures.
The new Maple Leaf Adventures site is a visually stunning experience that makes visitors hungry for the trip of a lifetime. Users can browse the many possibilities by destination, season, or interest – but they can also use advanced filtration to get incredibly specific about the type of trip they want to take. And the best part is that although the site has a high volume of content and fancy filters, it’s extremely lightweight and easy for their team to edit, because it’s built on our low-code site builder, Refoundry. We even built a custom table based on their departure details to support smooth content imports.
