About the Project
The Acne and Rosacea Society of Canada is a new national, not-for-profit organization led by Canadian dermatologists, offering hope and help to sufferers by providing independent, reputable and current information on these conditions as well as raising awareness.
- Design an easy way for users to find reputable information about acne
- Create an engaging content strategy and online environment for a sensitive subject matter

- Improve organic SEO search results and boost overall conversion
Bringing it All Together
Working on this project really hit home for a few people on our team who suffered from acne at times in their life. So to build a site for this not-for-profit Canadian organization was very rewarding. We created a space for suffers, or parents of suffers, to come to find reputable information about acne, in a manner and tone that would leave the user feeling hopeful and that they have received some guidance on what next steps to take. To lighten up the content and create a personalized experience we developed a few areas of engagement by building quizzes with GravityForms that used a conditional statement to reveal the answers. Our client was working towards a tight deadline to meet the needs of their press conference so collaboration brought this project beautifully to the finish line.
