We were thrilled to be asked to help A Filthy Lot launch their business! This production company startup creates quirky Sci-Fi and comedy shows for YouTube, which is right up our alley.
Our goal for this project was to reflect their purpose with the web design – make it all about the stories. Their shows needed centre stage, but we also wanted to showcase their studio’s origin story. The challenge was to build a highly visual website that still loads quickly.
Style
A Filthy Lot had plenty of awesome videos and photography for us to work with. The goal with the design was to bring it all together in a single, cohesive experience. We used their logo and inspiration board, set the visual elements against a dramatic black background, and finished it off with modern typography for minimal text.
Bringing it All Together
A Filthy Lot’s all-new website is a highly engaging experience from one page to the next. The visual storytelling feels young, energetic, and a little bit weird – totally on-brand for their business. The site is a solid testament to the exciting work that this startup has already produced, with straightforward paths to watch their shows or become a partner for future projects.
