Phase 1: Prototyping

Prototyping

Phantom Screens came to us as an industry leader with a powerful global reputation – and a website that couldn’t keep up. They needed a full website redesign to improve the path to conversion, amplify editorial content, and create a more seamless product page experience. They also needed to create a microsite for their B2B audience, and split some of their current content out.

This is a big project that needed to be rethought from the ground up, with collaborative content restructuring at the sitemap stage and conversion optimization driving the UX designs. The product pages in particular were challenging, because there’s so much necessary content to help buyers do research and choose the right option.

Phase 2: Style & UI Design

Style

Phantom had a strong rebrand that we worked with in the design stage. Our focus was on creating engaging movement with the images, hovers, and scroll effects. The gradient backgrounds and clean type feel bright and sophisticated.

Phase 3: Bringing it all together

Bringing it All Together

The new Phantom Screens website is spacious and smooth. Users can easily browse by a method that appeals to them, by screen type, area of the home, or specific need. The new inspiration area gives the Phantom team a unified place to create SEO-friendly content around use cases, while getting visitors excited about having the products in their own homes. And the site is built on our lightweight, low-code site builder, Refoundry, making it easy for their team to add new products and inspiration posts as they expand.

Built by Refoundry

Refoundry is a low-code site builder plugin created by Forge and Smith’s owner, Shawn Johnston, and our team of engineers. We’ve been building all of our websites on it since late 2022. It empowers our clients with total creative freedom in WordPress, and the ability to more easily grow and scale their sites.
