Prototyping
Spur Communication’s full-service agency was growing, and their one-page website no longer did their strategic capabilities justice. They tapped into the Launch Online Grant Program, and came to us for an expanded website including a custom Shopify theme for an all-new digital downloads store.
This website redesign was all about the content strategy and UX design – Spur had never before had room to create content beyond their homepage. Through collaboration on site mapping and wireframes, we planned new areas for services, case studies, and brand storytelling.
Style
Spur had a great brand deck for us to follow. You didn’t get to feel the effect of their branding on their old site, so it was fun to take that friendly, warm visual identity and use it to bring their full story to life. The modern sans serif font with lowercase headings evokes their fresh, playful side, while the photos and icons reflect their serious approach to strategy.
Bringing it All Together
The new Spur Communication site is polished, professional, and progressive, just like their brand. It features conversion-driving case studies of their client success stories. Thanks to the new SEO-friendly content, the site saw a 40.5% increase in organic search traffic in its first month post-launch. And with their new Shopify store, they can showcase their eBook offering.
