Phase 1

Prototyping

Defy came to us with an exciting product ready to launch – they just needed a company website to showcase their expertise and solutions. They didn’t want to over-complicate things with tons of technical details – the objective was to capture what they do, and target high-risk verticals through SEO and content strategy.

This web design and development project was focused on building a clean, minimal site driven by benefits content. The objective was to give their audience enough enticing information about their many capabilities, to make contact and learn more. Secondary content for developers also needed to be clear and accessible.

Style Concepts

Defy wanted to keep their branding similar to their parent company, Reach, but with a warmer palette. We offset red and orange gradients in backgrounds and on buttons with black accents. The typography feels modern and social. We also provided copywriting and editing support for the Defy site, helping them bring their brand story to life and effectively capture their many product benefits while optimizing content for search.

Bringing it all together

The all-new Defy Payments site is smooth, colourful, and optimized for search engine success. The key benefits and product information is straightforward and easily discovered. We also designed and developed a micro-site for Defy Invoicing, which is linked to the main Defy site and houses their third eCommerce solution.
